1. When did you first become a LOTR fan?: 6th grade; I had to read The Hobbit for my lit class and loved it...and things sort of went from there.
2. Have you read the books? Yes, though I feel a re-reading coming on.
3. Seen the movies? Of course.
4. What is it that you love about LOTR? How there's so many levels; I'm all about some deep, symbolic literature. Also, it's so original, it sort of REMINDS me of a couple other things (namely the Narnia books, durr), but is really unlike anything else.
5. How many times did you see each of the movies: FOTR probably 4 or 5 times (only twice in the theatres), TTT at least 7 times (3 times in the theatres, and a bunch at home), ROTK only once so far.
6. Times you've read the books: Twice, but the first was seriously like 10 years ago.
7. Just how obsessed are you with LOTR?: I wouldn't say OBSESSED, but I really really like them...
8. Can you speak Elvish? Um, no. But I speak some French. :)
9. Did you dress up for any of the movie premieres: Nah.
10. Most memorable moment as a fan: When I saw TTT the 2nd time it was w/boyfriend at the time and he started trying to talk to me in the middle and I hit him and told him to shut up and he got all offended and shit. It was pretty damn funny.
11. Favorite of the books: ROTK.
12. Favorite of the movies: TTT. Helm's Deep fuckin OWNS me.
13. Favorite overall character: Smeagol/Gollum, Aragorn, Eowyn, Faramir.
14. Character you find most attractive: In the books I always liked Aragorn and Faramir. In the movies Legolas, Merry, Pippin, and Faramir are all adorable but Aragorn...*swoon*
15. Favorite couple: Aragorn/Arwen...what can I say? I'm a romantic!
16. Favorite hobbit: Merry or Pippin. I can never decide.
17. Favorite elf: Legolas.
18. Favorite man: Probably a tie btw. Aragorn and Faramir.
19. Favorite dwarf: Gimli.
20. Favorite wizard: Gandalf.
21. Favorite orc: The one in the movie that asks if he can eat Merry and Pippin's legs. That cracks me up every damn time.
22. Favorite villain: Either the Witch King or...would the Uruk-Hai count as a villain? Cause DUDE. They really fucking freak me out.

24. Favorite scene from the books: All the Houses of Healing parts. Grrrrr movie edits!
25. Favorite scene from the movies: 2 words. Helm's Deep.

29. Favorite quote: The thing that Gandalf says about doing what you can with the time given to you...I can never quote it correctly, but I really love it.
30. Where would you want to live in Middle Earth?: Though I'd be up for a vacation in Rivendell, I'd say Gondor or Rohan. Lots of sexy rugged-type men. :)
31. What kind of creature would you be? Human.
32. What's your weapon of choice?: Ooh a SWORD, most def.
